Pediatric Eye Exams

We specialize in children's eye care and offer comprehensive eye exams for kids of all ages. Our optometrists can detect and treat common childhood eye conditions such as amblyopia and strabismus. We do offer pediatric glasses at our optical if your child does need vision correction.

A common question asked is: "When should I get my child's eyes checked?" Typically a health check is anytime from ages 6-12 months then another check at 3 years old.  

Our doctors have the skills and technology to make sure their eyes will develop normally and are healthy.  The brain and vision work together, the vision is usually fully developed by age 8, if the eyes are not equal or have a congenital defect, then the vision can not develop normally.  It's important to find any of these concerns and earlier is better.
